Find a Speaker
The Campaign to End the Death Penalty is a great resource to find speakers who can motivate, educate and inspire at whatever sort of event you are planning.
We can put you in touch with:
- Exonerated death row prisoners
- Exonerated police torture survivors
- Prisoners on death row and serving long sentences
- Family members who’s loved ones are on death row
- Scholars, Attorneys, activists, poets and musicians
Each year, we organize a National Speaking Tour that features the former and current prisoners, family members of prisoners and activists in our organization, as well as brining together nationally known figures in the criminal justice reform arena.
If you would like to host a tour stop in 2010 at your school, in your community or your church, we will work with you to coordinate the event and to help arrange speakers. Contact our tour coordinator Lee at lwengraf@gmail.com
We can also help you coordinate a "LIVE FROM DEATH ROW" event--where your audience will hear from a death row prisoner live via telephone hook-up.
All of our speakers are actively involved in building a fight back against the racist, barbaric death penalty. Each brings his or her own unique style, presence and perspective to our movement.
