Heartfelt Thanks To Tanja Jung

Dear New Abolitionist,

Having spent the academic year at Ohio State University on a travel grant from Fulbright, Tanja Jung came to Chicago as a volunteer intern for the Campaign. She is now back in Berlin to continue her studies.

During her time here, Tanja dove into activities -- she was invaluable in helping to organize the "Live from Death Row" held this July. She formed friendships and important ties for the Campaign with members of Illinois' death row at Pontiac and Cook County Jail and showed support for them at their court hearings. In our crowded, technically deficient, hot and stuffy national office, she researched and compiled an impressive database of foundations, improving our grantwriting efforts.

From the guys at Cook County Jail and Pontiac's death row, from the Chicago chapters of the Campaign, and from me at the office:

We miss you, and we wish you the best of luck!

Onwards to abolition.

In Struggle,
Noreen McNulty
