A warm thank you to our monthly sustainers. We now have 50 monthly sustainers, and are well on our way towards reaching our goal of 100 by November 2005. We’re making a special effort to sign up new monthly sustainers to help guarantee a fixed and reliable source of income for our organization.

We’ve come a long way in our struggle. From the commutations of all death sentences in Illinois in 2003 to the recent Supreme Court ruling banning the execution of juveniles, we are moving towards abolition, step by step. And we’ll keep organizing and educating until we abolish the death penalty.

Like all struggles, our movement needs funds to grow. As California death row prisoner Kevin Cooper said, "Struggles like this take money, and we all know that the state has all the money that it needs to use to execute poor people." Please support our efforts by signing up to become a monthly sustainer. Call 773-955-4841 or visit www.nodeathpenalty.org to sign up.
